The OWL consists of the OWL Lodge, OWL Outpost and OWL Campground located near the shores of the Oak Wood Lakes and Bruce in Eastern South Dakota -approximately 20 minutes northwest of Brookings. 

The OWL is the perfect place to come and spend a weekend for your wedding, family and class reunions, holiday get-togethers, scrapbooking and quilting retreats, corporate meetings, team and church retreats and events,  as well as lodging for hunters and fisherman. The OWL also has plenty of space for traveling sports teams. The Lodge can seat 200 people for events and sleeps at least 30 people. The Outpost sleeps 8-10 people and is perfect for birthday and anniversary parties as well as lodging for smaller groups. 

OWNERS - Ryan and Stacy Ness, along with their sons,  Riley and Regan, purchased OWL Operations in June 2021. Ryan is a Brookings native and Stacy grew up in Volga. They are very excited to be operating the OWL and cannot wait to host your next event.
