The public is welcome to come celebrate the opening of this collaborative project between the Sustainability Council and the Brookings Parks\, Recreation\, and Forestry Department. Wednesday\, June 10 4:30pm US-14 Bypass and Medary Ave (enter off the bypass) A food forest is a sustainable agricultural system designed to mimic a natural forest. It includes various vegetation\, creating a diverse and resilient environment that produces food and other resources. This project will foster community engagement by providing a shared space for planting\, harvesting\, and providing educational opportunities for all ages. Come learn more on 6/10   we hope to see you there.
