Independent Living Choices was established in 1982 as a 501(c)(3) private, non-profit, organization. All ILC services are designed and structured to open doors for people with disabilities. We help individuals access the community, employment, and many other areas of life that allows them their independence. The founders believed in the human value, contribution, and spirit of people who have significant disabilities. They believed that all people regardless of disability should have the right to determine how and where they want to live.

The Brookings office serves the following counties: Brookings, Kingsbury, Lake and Miner.
