The Brookings Area Chamber of Commerce (BACC) is thrilled to introduce our Secret Shopper Program – a program designed to help our local businesses thrive by gaining valuable insights directly from those who matter the most: the customers.

This program strives to improve community-wide programming by providing Brookings businesses with real feedback on customer service, product presentation, and overall guest experience. Anonymous 'secret shoppers' provide an unbiased view of the customer experience at your company.

How it Works: Once your business signs up, the BACC will arrange for secret shoppers to visit your establishment over the next month. These shoppers will engage with your employees as regular customers and will complete a detailed evaluation form afterward. Throughout the process, they will assess key aspects of the experience – like product quality, service, and staff friendliness. After the visit, their feedback will be compiled into a report highlighting both strengths and opportunities for improvement.

Shoppers/reviewers remain completely anonymous throughout the process, and all information gathered remains confidential between the BACC and the business.
