July Community Leader: Lori Frederick, CEO of Brookings Regional Growth Alliance

We are excited to welcome Lori Frederick, CEO of the Brookings Regional Growth Alliance, as our featured leader for July's Community Leader Sit Down.

Lori brings more than 20 years of experience in business ownership, consulting, community development, and economic development leadership. Prior to joining the Growth Alliance, she served as Senior Economic Development Director at Elevate Rapid City, where she led initiatives focused on business attraction, retention, expansion, and regional economic growth.

As CEO of the Brookings Regional Growth Alliance, Lori leads the unified organization formed through the consolidation of the Brookings Area Chamber of Commerce, Brookings Economic Development Corporation, Downtown Brookings, and Visit Brookings. In this role, she works to align community resources, strengthen regional collaboration, and advance long-term economic vitality and quality of life throughout Brookings and the surrounding region.

A South Dakota State University alumna, Lori brings both a deep understanding of the area's strengths and a forward-looking perspective on the opportunities ahead. Join us for a candid conversation about leadership, community growth, economic development, and the future of Brookings.
