We are celebrating Brookings' Frost Fest with an opportunity for you to learn how to curl for FREE! Brookings Parks and & Recreation has teamed up with us and we are excited to get you on the ice with some of Brookings' top curlers to teach you how to throw, sweep, and score! There is nothing you need to bring other than yourself and some light jackets. We have all the equipment you will need on-hand. Come try the fastest-growing winter sport in America with us! We will be hitting the ice at 1pm, so please try to arrive early if possible. Curlers MUST be 16 years of age or older and will sign a waiver to participate. If you have any mobility or balance issues we should be aware of, please let us know! Curling is a very accessible sport for all types, we have equipment that can help anyone curl! If you have completed a "Learn to Curl" event with us in the past, we will have sheets set-up for open curling, whether you want to practice, or play in a friendly match with other curlers!
