The Inclusive Leader Equation: IQ+EQ+CQ is a course designed to allow participants to explore the five components of emotional intelligence and the value that emotional intelligence has in becoming an inclusive leader. The Inclusive Leader Equation: IQ+EQ+CQ explains why emotional intelligence is critical to becoming a change agent practitioner. The five components are motivation, self-awareness, self-regulation, social skills, and empathy. At the center of it all is EQ, which is the capacity to be aware of, control, and express one's emotions and to handle interpersonal relationships judiciously and empathetically.   This interactive presentation tackles uncomfortable subjects. And will help us identify and recognize the five EQ components and three sources of Cultural Intelligence (CQ) that contribute to our ability to develop our careers, build profitable lifelong relationships, strengthen our brands, and prioritize self-care. It is an engaging, spirited, and action-motivated experience that swiftly encourages us to move from awareness to action.   Participant Experience Heads· learn the five components of emotional intelligence and how strengthening our emotional intelligence enhances our ability to be inclusive leaders and Change Agents. Hearts· feel challenged to examine their areas of growth in emotional intelligence; they will feel encouraged to recognize the benefits of strengthening their emotional intelligence and motivated to support their colleagues in becoming Change Agents. Hands· will engage in individual, small group, and whole group exercises focused on reflecting on emotional intelligence and emotional intelligence’s connection to inclusive leadership and build action steps to solidify new knowledge on emotional intelligence and inclusive leadership.
